It was a nice spring day, warm and breezy in the heart of Lilypad. The town bustled with life as villagers went about their daily lives and tasks, two of which included Raye and Caleb. The young pup was walking extra fast with a notepad and pen in hand, stopping every so often to look back at his guardian with a pouting face. “Come ooooon! Macy wanted us to get this story ASAP!” He whined, ears down to show his dismay. “Yes yes, I know.” Raye smiled back, still taking her time despite the rushing of her adopted son. “Though you forget we have all day, it’s not like they are going to go anywhere.” “They could!” Caleb protested. “They could be blown away or the stands could burn down or aliens could abduct them or-“ “Worst thing that could happen is they close early, that’s it Caleb.” She sighed, finally catching up to the pup. “THAT WOULD BE TERRIBLE THOUGH!” He cried, causing a few of the closer villagers to give concerning looks their way.
